In recognition of its operational model based on excellence

The company is engaged in a process of constant and evolutionary industrial transformation. A major industrial project is underway at HIMOINSA with the expansion of its production centre in Spain and the commissioning of new factories that will provide a series of production lines for new products.

HIMOINSA has received the Operational Excellence Award conferred by Sisteplant, a company that specializes in streamlining industrial companies' production, logistics and organizational processes.

This recognition was presented during the 34th edition of the Sisteplant Awards, which recognizes companies that have achieved excellence in their operations by integrating solutions, transforming their processes and implementing operational information systems.

"The Operational Excellence Award has been bestowed on HIMOINSA in recognition of its capacity to redefine its process engineering and of its ongoing commitment to an operational model that is based on excellence, accepted by the entire organisation and sustained over time" says Ana Santiago, Sisteplant CEO.

The Operational Excellence Award was accepted by Manuel Sánchez Bada, Global Operations Director at HIMOINSA, and Ilyass Kaf, Head of Production and Continuous Improvement at HIMOINSA.

"We are most grateful to Sisteplant for this distinction, which recognizes the company's efforts to constantly streamline its industrial process. It is also a recognition of the excellent work carried out by all the colleagues and departments that are involved in the company's production processes." by Manuel Sánchez Bada

A major industrial project is underway at HIMOINSA with the expansion of its production centre in Spain and the commissioning of new facilities that will provide a series of production lines for new products.

The company is engaged in a process of constant and evolutionary industrial transformation. In an initial effort to achieve continuous improvement, work was carried out to deploy Lean Manufacturing | Kaizen systems throughout the company.

Thereafter, in order to achieve greater process efficiency and improve internal logistics between the company's different production areas, it redefined the layout of its factories in Spain, integrating all the processes within the same production centre. Currently, the company is working on the commissioning of new factories to provide production lines for the new products that the company has added to its product portfolio, such as battery power storage and generation systems (EHR | Battery Power Generator).

"One of HIMOINSA's main objectives is to constantly strive to develop new products. We invest approximately 20% of our EBITDA in R&D, but this major commitment must also be reflected in our industrial planning to ensure that when the product reaches the market, it does so with guaranteed high quality and efficiency in its production processes", explains Manuel Sánchez Bada.

In each and every one of the factories that HIMOINSA has in Spain, USA, Brazil, Argentina, France and China, it implements identical production processes to guarantee maximum quality and excellence in the management of its operations.

¡ Congratulations for the well done work!

INTERNATIONAL PRESS MISSION 2025, 27 - 31 OCTOBER

The main objective and purpose of the reverse mission is for the invited magazines to visit various manufacturers of construction, public works, and mining machinery in order to learn firsthand about the Spanish machinery offering, as well as the production processes and facilities of ANMOPYC members located throughout different regions of Spain.

Through this activity, we aim to cover the majority of subsectors represented by ANMOPYC members, such as mining and related machinery, recycling, general construction machinery, power generators and energy equipment, lifting machinery, etc., and to highlight any technical or product innovations.
